Animal Testing Pictures
A few years ago, Iams made the decision to post animal testing pictures from our Pet Health and Nutrition Centers on our website. We felt that this would be the best way to be open and honest with our consumers and our fellow animal lovers about our nutritional studies.
While many websites offer pictures showing the victims of cruel animal testing, Iams' animal testing pictures show happy and health cats and dogs playing with each other and being loved and groomed by their caregivers. Iams has also opened our research facilities to the ASPCA (link to ASPCA website section on Iams maybe) allowing them to take their own animal testing pictures, which they have posted on their website.
We want our fellow animal lovers to see that we extend the affection and care we would give our own pets to the cats and dogs in Iams animal research facilities. We also want to encourage other pet food companies who conduct animal research to post their animal testing pictures on their websites. Iams believes openness will encourage companies to reduce their cruel animal testing practices and will encourage them to seek alternatives to animal research.
Help Iams encourage other animal testing companies to post their animal testing pictures on their websites by signing our petition.
