Take Action Against Animal Cruelty
Iams animal testing does not involve animal cruelty on any level. As pet owners ourselves, we take every step to treat our animals the way we would treat our own pets. We are also passionate about continually searching for alternatives to animal testing.
Animal cruelty is against the law in every U. S. state. It can sometimes even indicate a pattern of violence within families.
Iams wants you to take action to stop animal cruelty. We have created this website to educate people about the P&G animal testing policies and Iams animal research, and to empower people to report possible acts of animal cruelty. In this section of the website, you can learn how to report cruel animal testing and animal abuse. We also have links to petitions you can sign to help take a stand against animal cruelty practices.
The best place to start is by finding out who is responsible for investigating and enforcing animal cruelty laws in your community and reporting any potential violation to them immediately. You may wish to document, in writing, exactly what you have witnessed, including dates and times. If you can photograph the animal cruelty without putting yourself in danger, this can also help the investigation. Finding other witnesses willing to provide statements can also help law enforcement officers. Follow up on any reports you make if you do not hear back from the officers in a reasonable amount of time.
Iams sincerely hopes that the information provided on this website helps people come to view us as a partner in the fight against animal cruelty.
